The kids have always wondered about the park behind the McDonalds (Chevron Park). It's a park owned by Chevron and remains empty just about every day of the year! It's fenced in with a big sign, "For Employees Only". I'm pretty sure there are no kids working at Chevron.....

Anyway, last weekend MOVIE IN THE PARK was at Chevron Park! And although I was a little fearful that it was going to be a chaotic zoo ---- it was a huge pleasure. Jump houses, small train, games, face painting and a good beer and wine tent.........all followed by a movie at dark.
